The banquet after your church ceremony will be also something very special. We have made reservations for you on the dinner cruise on the lake of Zurich.
For approx 2 hrs, you will be travelling on the lake through a lovely countryside with breathtaking lookouts into the Swiss alps / mountains, meanwhile enjoying your dinner-banquet.
If you do the 4 days program, with the legal marriage in Switzerland, your dinner on day 2 will NOT be the dinner cruise. You will be invited to a very special restaurant in the town of
Zurich.

| Ufenau island |
.
Ufenau is a small island located in the southern end of Lake Zurich, Switzerland.
It is only reachable by boat.
12 minutes from the town of Rapperswil, 130 minutes from down town Zurich.
The island measures 112,645 m2 (1,212,500 ft) in all, 470 m (1,540 ft) from east to west
and 220 m (720 ft) from north to south. The highest point of the island is 423 m (1,388 ft) above sea
level or 17 m (56 ft) above lake level at 406 m (1,332 ft).

| "St. Peter and Paul" church |

The present St. Peter & Paul church was built in 1141/42 ac (first mentioned in 970) and renewed in 1958/59. For hundreds of years, it was the parish church for the people living in the surrounding villages of Lake Zurich's upper shores.

St. Martin's chapel, few meters away from the church, is dated in the 7th century. It was renewed in 1933/34 and in 1964/65.
St. Martin's was built on the remains of a former Gallo-Roman temple dating back to the 2nd century.
It is unlikely that we will have to make changes to these arrangements, but we book the arrangements many months in advance. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements. For example, if the minimum number of clients required for a particular travel arrangement is not reached, we may have to cancel it. However, we will not cancel your travel arrangements less than 6 weeks before the start date, except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance.
